Attorney Kevin C. Reid, the Public Finance Chair of King Spry, is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected by the Office of General Counsel of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for inclusion on their panel of approved bond counsel for the Pennsylvania Economic Development Financing Authority (PEDFA), the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PEDA), the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PennVEST), the State Public School Building Authority (SPSBA), the Pennsylvania Higher Education Facilities Authority (PHEFA), the State System of Higher Education (SSHE) and the Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority.

These state agencies and authorities provide conduit financing for a variety of issuers and projects including water, wastewater, storm water, health care, education, mass commuting, solid waste, manufacturing, certain housing, commercial, energy and other facilities.  The financings undertaken by these authorities involves borrowers or project users which include Commonwealth agencies, local government units, municipal authorities, industrial and commercial development authorities, industrial development agencies, non-profit entities, for profit entities and other private owners or lessees of projects eligible for taxable or tax exempt financing.
