Lucas J. Repka practices in the areas of general and special education. Lucas began his legal career as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Robert E. Simpson of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania before accepting a position with Gross McGinley, LLP, where his practice focused primarily on civil litigation.
Lucas graduated with Honors from Saint Vincent College in 2000, with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Education Certification, Psychology and Business Management. While at Saint Vincent, Lucas was a member of the Intercollegiate Lacrosse Team and received an A.J. Palumbo research grant for the preparation and presentation of his thesis.
In 2004, Lucas earned his Juris Doctorate from the Duquesne University School of Law, where he was a three year participant in the trial advocacy program and competed in five national competitions. He was also admitted to the Order of Barristers in recognition of his excellence in Trial Advocacy. He was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 2004, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 2007 and the United States Supreme Court in 2009.
Lucas is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, Lehigh and Northampton County Bar Associations. In addition, from 2006 through 2007, he served as conflicts counsel for the Lehigh County relative to juvenile delinquency hearings.
Lucas is currently an assistant coach for the boys’ varsity lacrosse program at Easton Area High School.
