Attorney Gaul Successfully Obtained Defense Verdict

Attorney Michael A. Gaul successfully obtained a defense verdict in the case of Renadlo v. Ruggiero, No. 2005-3121, Court of Common Pleas of Northampton County. Attorney Gaul was retained by Erie Insurance to defend its insured against a fire subrogation claim. The Plaintiffs in the lawsuit had filed a property damage claim against Erie's insured in excess of $400,000.

In June of 2007, Attorney Gaul argued, and the jury agreed, that the Plaintiffs' contributory negligence outweighed the alleged negligence of Erie's insured and that the Plaintiffs should therefor be barred from any recovery.
