Elizabeth M. Kelly is an associate in the employment, education and municipal law departments of King, Spry, Herman, Freund & Faul LLC. Her practice includes handling matters involving labor-management relations, litigation of employment and civil rights matters involving discrimination and harassment, advising clients in matters involving the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, workers' compensation and unemployment compensation laws, and assisting employers with workplace trainings.
Prior to joining KingSpry, Ms. Kelly served as Deputy County Solicitor for Lehigh County, where she also developed a concentration in real property tax assessment law and handled a wide variety of labor, employment and governmental issues. Ms. Kelly served as a law clerk to the Honorable Doris A. Smith-Ribner of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and she also served as Assistant Counsel to the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board
She received her Juris Doctorate in 1994 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her B.S. in Business Management from the University of Scranton. Ms. Kelly is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Courts of Eastern District, PA and Western District, PA. In 2008, Ms. Kelly was admitted to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court in connection with her handling of civil rights matters for the County.
Ms. Kelly is a member of the Leadership Lehigh Valley Class of 2011. |
