Jessica F. Moyer is an associate in the and departments of King, Spry, Herman, Freund & Faul LLC. Her practice includes all areas of family law, including divorce, equitable distribution, custody, support, and domestic violence. Ms. Moyer also acts as assistant solicitor for numerous public school districts. She has advised school boards, directors and administrators and appeared on their behalf before state and local agencies in Pennsylvania courts.
Ms. Moyer serves as a Council Member for the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section. She participates as a speaker on family law issues for several continuing legal education courses. Ms. Moyer co-authored a chapter on family issues for non-traditional families in the book "Legal Issues Confronting Lesbians, Gays, Bi-Sexuals, and Transgenders". In 2010 and 2011, she was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer "Rising Star" by Super Lawyer Magazine and Philadelphia Magazine.
Ms. Moyer is a member of the Board of Governors for the Northampton County Bar Association, as well as a member of the Northampton County Family Law Committee, Lehigh County Bar Association, Monroe County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania School Boards Solicitors Association. Ms. Moyer has been appointed program chair for the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Family Law Section 2012 meetings.
Prior to joining KingSpry, Ms. Moyer served as a law clerk for the Honorable Margherita Patti Worthington of the Court of Common Pleas of Monroe County. She received her Juris Doctorate in 2004 from Villanova University School of Law and her B.S. from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2000. Ms. Moyer is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
Ms. Moyer is a 2008 graduate of the Leadership Lehigh Valley Program. She sits on the advisory board for the Lehigh Valley American Lung Association, she's a member of the American Lung Association Gala and Development committees and she is also a member of the . |
