Keely J. Espinar represents clients in education and employment law.
Prior to joining KingSpry, Ms. Espinar was a judicial law clerk for The Honorable Judge Bradford H. Charles. She completed legal internships at the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry and the Public Utility Commission and before law school, she was a member of the therapeutic support staff for Pennsylvania Counseling Services and the mental health support staff for Milton Hershey School. She spoke on "Employment Law Affecting Cancer Patients and Survivors" at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's fourth annual blood cancer conference and is a frequent author of articles on a range of employment law topics.
Ms. Espinar earned her Juris Doctorate from Widener School of Law and her B.A. in Psychology from Lebanon Valley College where she was director of the writing center, leading small group seminars on writing skills including essay and exam writing. As department director, she also led trainings for other tutors. During her time at Widener, Ms. Espinar was a research assistant and a member of the Widener Law Journal, where she published a survey on " Malt Beverages Distributors Association v. Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board: Retail Dispensers Under Scrutiny." Most recently, she authored a guest opinion on digital data breaches for the Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal.
Ms. Espinar is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and was admitted to the Eastern District Court in 2010, the Middle District Court in 2011 and the Third Circuit in 2012. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and a member of MENSA. |
