Jessica F. Moyer represents clients within the firm in the areas of family law and education law.
Ms. Moyer earned dual degrees from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in Politial Science and Communications and graduated in 2000. During her time at West Chester University, Ms. Moyer was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society and the Gamma Sigma Alpha Academic Honorary. Ms. Moyer displayed her leadership skills as a member of the West Chester University Student Government; as VIce President of the Delta Zeta Sorority; as President of the Panhellenic Council; and as a volunteer of various other school-based organizations. In 2000, she received the West Chester University Leader Award.
In 2004, Ms. Moyer graduated from Villanova University School of Law, where she was a member of the Honor Board, Women's Law Caucus, and the Family Law Society. She is the author of "Cyber Stalking: Traditional Stalking in the Virtual World," which was honored and presented at the Elizabeth Cady Stanton Women's Conference. Ms. Moyer was also a quarter-finalist in the Reimel Moot Court Board competition. In 2004, she was honored with the Herman Mitchell Schwartz Award for her contribution to the achievement of the quality of opportunity and treatment for women either within the law school, the legal profession, or in society at large. Ms. Moyer also received the National Association of Women's Lawyer Award and was named Who's Who Among American Law Students for 2004. Throughout her education, Ms. Moyer retained employment with distinguished eastern Pennsylvania law firms, and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Juan Sanchez for the U.D. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Moyer is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania as well as the Supreme Court of New Jersey. She is a member of the Monroe County Bar Association, the Northampton County Bar Association, and the Bar Association of Lehigh County.
Ms. Moyer is currently a member of the 2008 Leadership Lehigh Valley class. She volunteers for many community activities, including the Shawn Fogarty Memorial Golf Tournament. Ms. Moyer is also an active member of the Northampton County Young Lawyer's Division, the Family Law Committee and the Introduction to Law Committee. |
