A former regional representative and Secretary to the executive board, Kristine Roddick will serve as the next President of the Pennsylvania School Board Solicitors’ Association (PSBSA.) Her term commences January 2015.
Ms. Roddick is a partner of the firm, a member of the Executive Committee, and chair of KingSpry’s Special Education Law Practice Group. Ms. Roddick is a frequent lecturer in the education field, speaking on a variety of issues facing school districts that include student discipline, special education liability, confidentiality issues and taxation.
She earned her Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law, and in 2014, was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star, along with two of her colleagues. This is significant because according to Super Lawyer magazine, only twelve attorneys statewide were named Rising Stars in special education this year. Three of those named are from KingSpry, which means 25% of the top recognized attorneys in this field are part of the KingSpry firm.
