KingSpry is proud to support the 5th annual “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” student video contest. Above, Attorney Rebecca Young poses with some of the contest’s previous winners.
The fifth annual “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” Student Videos Contest has a total of 30 middle schools participating this year from Carbon, Lehigh and Northampton Counties.
Presented by Manufactures Resource Center (MRC), the Student Video Contest: “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” (WSCM) gives students in Carbon, Lehigh, and Northampton Counties the opportunity to connect directly with local manufacturers, document their experiences and present them in an educational and “cool” way through documentary video production. The contest was created to generate excitement that draws students towards considering manufacturing career paths.
“We are very pleased to launch the Student Video Contest for its fifth year here in the Lehigh Valley. The program’s success is spreading across the state of Pennsylvania and throughout the country,” says Jack Pfunder, President & CEO of Manufacturers Resource Center.
The most outstanding student videos will be posted on the What’s So Cool website, https://www.whatssocool.org. Voting will be open to the public from February 21-23.
The video awards will be presented at a special ceremony on February 27, 2018, at Arts Quest.
As a proud sponsor, KingSpry wishes all the participating schools the best of luck, and encourages everyone to vote for their favorites.
