Real Estate Law
Our firm's Real Estate Practice Group has more than 100 years of collective experience in real estate transactions ranging from residential to complex commercial and industrial transactions.
We have represented and continue to represent both purchasers and sellers in residential sales transactions and in commercial and industrial matters, including residential development.
Our firm has represented developers and has negotiated deals involving the use of federal tax credits, public/private partnerships, economic development grants, industrial development authority loans, and all phases of the commercial transaction process. Our lawyers have represented lenders and we have represented borrowers in these type of transactions.
A property transaction often involves the need to obtain state and/or local permits. Our firm has appeared before planning agencies and zoning hearing boards throughout the region. We have represented zoning hearing boards, planning commissions and municipalities, and we frequently appear before these type of agencies on behalf of private clients desiring to develop or expand properties. We have appeared before local zoning hearing boards and have appealed decisions both on behalf of applicants and on behalf of protestants to the local court of common pleas and to the Pennsylvania appellate courts.
